Regina Guzman, LCSW

Founder and owner of Mood Connection Center

My approach to therapy is shaped not only by clinical training, but by lived experience, personal exploration, and a deeper search for understanding.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 14 years of experience in the mental health field. I received my Master of Social Work from California State University, Los Angeles, and am licensed to provide therapy in both California and Arizona.

Over the course of my career, I have worked in community mental health and private practice, eventually creating Mood Connection Center with the understanding that our mood has a profound impact on how we experience ourselves, relate to others, and move through life.

ORIGIN & TURNING POINT

My work deepened in a very personal way after the loss of my brother.

In the midst of grief, I found myself searching for answers—trying to understand not only the pain I was experiencing, but the deeper questions that come with loss, meaning, and connection.

What began as a search for healing gradually became a journey into something more expansive. I explored meditation, spiritual practices, and deeper inner work—seeking to understand what exists beyond what we can immediately see or explain.

Over time, this exploration reshaped both my personal life and how I understand the healing process.

INTEGRATIVE APPROACH

I believe in a more holistic and integrative approach to mental health—one that honors the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and deeper internal experience.

My work weaves psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, and a broader, depth-oriented perspective to support meaningful and lasting change.

Rather than focusing only on symptom relief, I aim to help you understand the underlying patterns shaping your experience and reconnect with a stronger sense of clarity, direction, and inner awareness.

WHAT SETS ME APART

Over time, this has evolved into what I consider my own noetic signature—a way of working that integrates both the psychological and more intuitive dimensions of healing in a grounded and intentional way.

This approach is especially meaningful for those who feel that traditional therapy has only taken them so far, or who are seeking a deeper and more expansive path forward.

PERSONAL NOTE

Outside of my work, I value time with my family, being in nature, and the simple moments that help bring a sense of grounding and presence.

I believe healing is not about perfection, but about learning how to move through life with greater awareness, resilience, and connection to yourself.
